Today’s question is: Can I Build Credit As An Authorized User?
Ask us your credit questions in the comments and find your next card at https://www.creditcardinsider.com/
Many credit cards give you the option to add authorized users to your account. An authorized user will share the credit account with you, usually getting their own card and having access to the full spending power of the account. The same credit account will show up on both the main account holder’s and the authorized user’s credit reports, so whatever activity that happens with the card – good or bad – will show up on both user’s reports. This means that you must choose your authorized users and primary cardholders carefully, being sure to pick responsible credit card users.
